can solar panels take in too much sun ?

Could it take the increase stress or wouldit just melt ?

ps how much doesa solar panel cost ?

    No, Solar panels can’t take in too much sun. Because the amount that it gets it uses for electricity and if there is extra it stores it until the next time it is needed.

    No but if one is covered by a leaf, it would have a lower output than the ones connected thus forcing it to run in negative polarity which would damage the cell…. luckily bypass diodes have been installed to avoid it

    Yes, the solar panel can be damaged, depending on what kind it is. If it’s a water heater solar panel and the water is removed for example, the materials can get quite hot, certainly hot enough to melt solder joining copper pipes together. If the water isn’t circulated through the panel, thus cooling it, the water can reach 212 F and above. So, in addition to higher heat, high pressures can be realized. Some solar panels have a pressure relief valve.
